A total of 54 hunting grounds for international hunting tourism have been set up on this area. The country offers ideal possibilities for hunters to enrich their collections with capital trophies. Those fond of precious shooting and excitement can join hunting parties for pheasants, wild ducks, quails, partridges and other small games.

Bulgaria offer hunting in specified areas, licensed by the government to render services to foreign clients. These areas abundant in different game are situated near the capital city of Sofia and near the second largest town of Plovdiv. The distance from Sofia, or from Plovdiv to the respective hunting ground is approximately 15 - 20 km. Accommodation is provided either within the territory of the hunting ground in chalets equipped with all the necessary facilities, or in hotels in Sofia and Plovdiv.
